// FAQ
Common questions about PETG HS.
Which printers is HO3D PETG High-Modulus compatible with?+

All five major brands — Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Elegoo, and Anycubic. Works in AMS multi-material setups and standard single-extruder machines equally well.

What's the heat resistance of PETG High-Modulus vs PLA?+

PETG High-Modulus has a heat deflection temperature of ~80°C vs ~55°C for standard PLA — a significant upgrade for parts near heat sources.

Does PETG warp?+

PETG has low warping tendency compared to ABS or ASA. A heated bed at 70–85°C and good first-layer adhesion is all you need.

Is PETG food safe?+

The raw material is food-safe, but 3D printed parts have micro-pores that harbour bacteria. Not recommended for direct food contact.

Can I use PETG for outdoor parts?+

PETG handles moderate outdoor use but has limited UV resistance. For UV-exposed outdoor parts, use HO3D Exo-Armor ASA™.
