Refund & Cancellation Policy

// Overview

This policy covers refunds and cancellations for all purchases made on houseof3d.in and the LayerHub platform, operated by HO3D Manufacturing India Pvt Ltd. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

// 1. Pre-Orders (Filament & Physical Products)

Pre-orders on LayerHub require a holding fee of ₹201 at the time of reservation, with the balance due at dispatch.

₹201 HOLDING FEE — Non-refundable once your payment has been verified and your reservation is confirmed. This fee allocates your unit in our production run.

Before payment verification: Full refund of any amount paid. To cancel, contact us within 24 hours of placing the order before we send a payment confirmation.

After payment verification, 7+ days before estimated dispatch: The ₹201 holding fee is forfeited. The balance amount (if pre-paid) is refunded in full within 7–10 business days.

Within 7 days of estimated dispatch date: No refund available. Your unit is already allocated and production/packing is in progress.

Shipping delays: A delay of up to 14 days from the estimated dispatch date does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund. If dispatch is delayed beyond 14 days from the communicated date, you may cancel for a full refund including the holding fee.


// 2. Physical Products (Non Pre-Order)

For physical products dispatched in full (not pre-orders), we accept return/replacement requests only in the following circumstances:

To claim a replacement: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photo/video proof sent to inthehouseof3d@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 70219 06282. Requests submitted after 7 days of the delivery date will not be accepted.

Upon verification, we will dispatch a replacement unit at no additional cost. We do not offer cash refunds for physical products unless a replacement is not possible due to stock unavailability.

Change of mind / incorrect purchase: We do not accept returns or issue refunds for physical products where the customer has changed their mind or ordered the wrong variant. Please review your order carefully before confirming.


// 3. Digital Products (3D Models & STL Files)

Digital products — including 3D model files, STL files, and any downloadable content — are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.

If you have been charged for a digital product but have not downloaded or accessed it and believe there was an error, contact us within 24 hours at inthehouseof3d@gmail.com with your order reference.

In the event of a technical error that prevents successful download after payment, we will either resolve the access issue or issue a full refund at our discretion.


// 4. Giveaway Entries

Giveaway entries earned through product reservations are non-transferable and have no monetary value. Cancellation of a reservation forfeits associated giveaway entries. No compensation is provided for forfeited entries.

// 6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:

We will notify you via email or WhatsApp when your refund has been initiated. If you do not receive the refund within 10 business days of our notification, contact your bank or payment provider first. If the issue persists, contact us at inthehouseof3d@gmail.com.
